SADNESS

I had hoped for what I would never have,
I had desired for another’s……
I would wreck and destroy
The house castle, you have made.
And I  will seize the helm of trust
From you and your siblings
And I will be number 1
The loved 1

I would claim all the love I was denied……
The earth denied me happiness
I would deprive earth of its water
Joy
I would scatter it all over the ashes
Of my burnt siblings
Dead without a funeral
Dead without a prayer
My cold poison I would introduce into your warm hearts.
This vendetta won’t end till I  get
The very last one of you

I would introduce Sadness
My companion
He’s  always been with me
In sickness and in health
The marriage that even death can’t end.
It is Sadness that would accompany me
To my final destination
To my home of utter misery
Where I have been destined to live
Since the day I was conceived
Inside a gutter by a busy express way
Lying beside my dead mother
And simultaneously,  Sadness was born.
I was born with Sadness
And Sadness I will spread
Sadness till I die.

By Charis Black

Have you ever wondered,  what goes on in the mind of a serial killer,  a rapist, a murderer , a deformed and dejected mind.  These warped minds that turn our society into garbage.  These warped minds that are corrupt and greedy and selfish.  Well….  I was wondering and I wondered,  Some get to misery by greed.  A lot by greed but some others by sadness,  and all the sisters of sadness; poverty,  deformity, sickness,  anger and dejection.
This poem SADNESS is a metaphorical anecdote of the musings of a bereaved,  grieved and hateful child,  who has been born into poverty and suffering.  Whose first meal was Hunger and whose first cloth was filth.  The sadness has eaten deep and has ruined any possible chance of a happy life.  And that child grows into a wicked,  brutal and aggressive  person. These are the merciless touts who can kill, steal and kidnap,  the false leader who gains power for selfish means,  the fake friends who willingly betrays their  friend for a piece of material glory.  These are the one who feel that they have been condemned from day 1.

We have to help in anyway we can, who knows what good you can achieve by taking sadness away from these poor children. These children who have the rare potentials  of making or marring this world that we live in.

Thanks for reading.
Yours Charis. 💯

Nice piece, but I wonder, can sadness really drive one into action? I tend to see sadness as something you succumb to and it drives you in to the depths of laziness, nonchalancy and distrust.

Honey Sadness is what advances into depression. When someone is depressed, suicide is an option, derision, sadist tendencies, anger, violence and aggression becomes a possibility, that’s why it’s always awkward or odd to hear someone you know who is always jovial commited murder or one hideous crime, it is usually born out of sadness. But if you hear a sadist raped a 3 year old, you will accept the crime as beginning to the person with the sick personality.
